Faith in the Middle of Grief: A Professor’s Journey Through Loss

“‘Keith-and-Kelly’ was one word,” recalled Dr. Keith Rogers reflecting on his relationship with his late wife, Kelly. “She and I took the two-become-one verse (Gen 2:24) seriously,” he explained. “Over the last few years, it has been difficult to use singular adjectives, like ‘my house,’ or ‘my children.’ It was always ‘our,’ ‘us,’ or ‘we.’”
